I am a self-taught artist that uses my abstract paintings to cycle through the deep intuitive calling of my higher self. When I begin a painting I allow my intuition to lead me through the development of shapes and colors and I remain absolutely present in each line, texture, and development of the abstract layering that is my work. It is an intuitive process that is absent of ego. I use Acrylic, Soft Fabrics, Yarn, and other materials to bring to life the harmonizing visual that is a raw and honest expression. This way of expression shows constant themes and struggles between the human conditions and their state of duality in beauty, harmony, and balance. My main inspiration comes from long hikes and walks through gardens and national parks with my family as I believe that humanity can learn the most when they have a personal connection and self-awareness with Nature. I believe that if we are a little bit more like nature and accept the life, death, and rebirth cycles that are within our lives, we can live a deep and authentic lifestyle that is in alignment with our human spirit and my paintings reflect that as they themselves cycle through different layers of symbols and colors.
